After removing my address from all pages in a futile attempt to stem the tide of spam, I've noticed that people resort to unusual methods to attempt to contact me. While I continue to marvel at the ingenuity they display, I figured it would be better to provide the contact info readers seem to be looking for.

If you leave a comment on one of my articles, I am automatically forwarded a copy of that comment, usually I get these within minutes. If you need a reply, be sure to include your email address in the appropriate field. As of September 2004, I'm disabling the comment functionality on this site. If you have a question about one of my articles, use the link below to email me directly. I will respond as quickly as I can to questions, but I may not respond if you ask something that is already covered in an article.

I prefer not to use instant messaging software. I do make an effort to respond to email in a timely manner though.

February 2005: PSSSST! Hey, check this out--I have a discussion board now. You can post questions there and I'll read and answer them. But don't tell anyone, okay? It's our little secret, right?
